ICYMI: more magical Bey pregnancy photos

Yesterday Beyoncé revived the tragic car crash that 2017 is becoming with the glorious announcement that she and Jay-Z are gifting the world with twins. She shared this perfect photo to Instagram with the thoughtful, perfectly crafted caption (personally I think she should have gone with “I don’t think you’re ready for this belly”).

We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters

Of course, the world was beyond excited, with a record number of Instagram likes and Twitter responses that are still coming (there’s even a parody photo by Zoë Foster Blake announcing her pregnancy). BUT what we’re just now learning is that this isn’t the only photo of Bey’s pregnant belly. There is a whole dang album just for your voyeuristic enjoyment.

Beyoncé released the intimate album of her pregnancy and family history and titled it ‘I have three hearts’. It features adorable five year old Blue Ivy and snippets of poetry about motherhood. Here’s a snippet that tugs at the heartstrings:

cells spark, limbs form, mother 

swells and stretches to protect her

child, mother has one foot in this world

and one foot in the next,

mother, black venus”
