It’s time to party like it’s 1999 because American R&B girl group TLC will be touring Australia in November.

The ladies took the music world by storm in the 90s selling over 71 million albums combined worldwide. In 2002, the most flamboyant member, Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes died in a tragic car accident and a huge part of TLC was lost that day.

Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas have continued to honour their friend and will do so again in this year’s tour. The Adelaide and Auckland shows will also feature special guest, Montell Jordan who’s hit This Is How We Do It is religiously played at just about every RnB party to date.

TLC Australia and New Zealand Tour Dates

Thursday November 10th – Michael Fowler Centre, Wellington NZ
Saturday November 12th – ASB Bay Park Arena, Tauranga NZ
Wednesday November 16th – Enmore Theatre, Sydney NSW
Tuesday November 22nd – Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide SA
Wednesday November 23rd – Palais Theatre, Melbourne VIC
Saturday November 26th – Vector Arena, Auckland NZ

The group have also announced a new and final album to be produced and released to hopefully early 2017.

A public statement the band made on the album:

“This album, our final album, is dedicated to all of you that have stuck with us, always challenging us to do our best. And of course, it’s for the new fans too! We just want to put out great music that touches everyone. That’s it.”
